Philadelphia Phillies: Nick Castellanos Writes History With Postseason Feat

In the National League Division Series (NLDS) against the Atlanta Braves, outfielder Nick Castellanos of the Philadelphia Phillies is currently on an impressive blitz.

He made MLB playoff history by being the first player to have consecutive multi-home run games in Game 4 of that series. This unusual record was set by Castellanos, who also hit two home runs in Games 3 and 4.

He blasted two solo home runs in Game 3 to help the Philadelphia Phillies win 10-2. Nick Castellanos extended his outstanding day on day 4 with two more solo blasts, one in the fourth inning and one in the sixth, both against Atlanta’s ace, Spencer Strider.

At Citizens Bank Park, where he has multiple hits in each of the Phillies’ most recent games, his performance has been of high importance.

Castellanos hadn’t hit in the postseason since 2014 before this recent run. Due to his string of multi-home run performances in the postseason, he has now hit a total of four home runs in only two days, making MLB records.

The triumph of the Phillies throughout the NLDS is entirely due to this outstanding effort.
