Despite New York City Mayor Eric Adams issuing an “Air Quality Health Advisory,” the Yankees and White Sox played the start of their three-game series in New York on Tuesday night.

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation issued an alert on the air’s healthfulness, and it will remain in effect until Wednesday morning.
