Denver Broncos Rehabilitated 4 Roster Positions, On Wednesday.
Following the Wednesday acquisition of kicker Elliott Fry to replace Brandon McManus, the Denver Broncos announced three other roster changes.
The club dismissed running back Tyreik McAllister to make way for Fry on the 90-man offseason roster. McAllister, who was just released and resigned around three weeks ago, is experiencing a difficult time. For the second time this offseason, he is on the waiver wire.
Following that, the Broncos signed tight end Tommy Hudson, according to a report from KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis. In 2020, the Tennessee Titans signed undrafted free agent Hunter Hudson (6-5, 255 pounds) from Arizona State. He participated in the team’s rookie minicamp tryouts last month.
Most of the previous three seasons saw Hudson on injured reserve or the practice squad. In 2021, he participated in five games and caught three catches for 31 yards. Hudson joins Greg Dulcich, Adam Trautman, Chris Manhertz, Albert Okwuegbunam, and Nate Adkins as the team’s sixth tight end.
