Game 4 of Warriors Series Saw the Lakers Rewarded for Flops; Says Steve Kerr

Steve Kerr isn’t happy with the Warriors’ performance in the final frame of Game 4.

“I think we had three or four illegal screens called, and that was disappointing.”
Kerr remarked after the game.
As for me, I’m not going to lie and say I wasn’t watching. A couple, though, were major letdowns in person.
They play with a lot of gamesmanship, those Lakers. They are aware of how to make a few calls.”
Kerr thinks some of the contact was too light to be ruled a foul, but he’ll have to review the film to be sure.
But, Kerr remarked, “I’ll have to see the replays if I’m to believe that they took some flops and were rewarded.” “Maybe I’m wrong, maybe those were all illegal screens, but I didn’t feel like watching it.”
Despite Kerr and Steph Curry’s assurances, Golden State was defeated 3-1 by the Houston Rockets in Game 4 of the Western Conference semis, despite Curry’s “Herculean” triple-double effort.
Going into Game 4, the Lakers are now the favorites to win the series against the Dubs.
If Curry’s triple-double and Gary Payton II’s inclusion in the starting lineup aren’t enough to help Golden State win Game 5 on Wednesday, Kerr will have to get creative.
Up until then, Kerr and the rest of the Warriors can reflect on their performance in Game 4.
