After Captains A’ja Wilson & Breanna Stewart Made Selections, WNBA All-Star Teams Finalized
All-Star teams have been selected for the WNBA season by A’ja Wilson and Breanna Stewart.
To get things started, Wilson selected Chelsea Gray of the Las Vegas Aces, while Stewart selected Brittney Stewart of the Phoenix Suns.
You need a terrific point guard for games like this, and I think she’s going to be tremendous,” Wilson said of Gray.
She’s going to be showering us with dimes and getting us into the swing of things. And that’s what separates average teams from great ones: outstanding point guard play; so, I had to pick Chelsea.
Stewart picked Griner because he knew the New York Liberty star would benefit from having an in-game leader.
“BG is my pick just because of the way that she’s continuing to carry herself on and off the court,” Stewart said. We can all agree that what she’s doing is outstanding, and that she’s a strong presence here. We require her dunks, her vitality, and her total contribution.
