This week, the Jets added veteran tackle Billy Turner to their offensive line and maybe added another to their defensive line.

The Jets intend to add defensive lineman Al Woods to their 90-man roster, according to Connor Hughes of SNY.

After choosing to forego playing for the Jaguars in 2020 due to COVID, Woods spent the 2019 season with the Seahawks before moving back to Seattle in 2021. Over the last two seasons, he appeared in 30 games as a starter and recorded 89 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and four passes defended.

The Saints selected Woods in the fourth round of the 2010 NFL Draft, although he made his NFL debut with the Buccaneers later that year. He played for the Titans, Colts, Steelers, and Seahawks before spending time with the Seahawks in 2011.
