Kevin Durant’s past NBA trades
Durant played 35 games in his lone season at Texas with Texas Longhorns before being picked by the Seattle SuperSonics (rebranded as Oklahoma City Thunder in 2008) in the 2007 NBA draft.
Despite spending nine seasons with the franchise, he wasn’t quite content with them and enforced a trade in 2016. After moving to Golden State Warriors, Durant won consecutive championships with them in 2017 and 2018. He won the Finals Most Valuable Player in both seasons.
The forward sustained an Achilles injury in the 2019 finals, he joined Brooklyn Nets as a free agent but requested a trade once again in 2022 after disagreements with the Nets’ front office. He finally moved to Phoenix Suns in February 2023.
