Shohei Ohtani, from Japan, is on the verge of signing the largest MLB deal ever. Shohei Ohtani may get a 12-year, 600 million-dollar contract.

The website Spotrac, which specializes in this kind of information, leads to a 10-year, 230 million-dollar contract for a pitcher and a 10-year, 333 million-dollar agreement for a batter.

The deal would total $563 million when added up.

“I don’t know if he’ll ever have anyone to compare to him in the entire history of baseball,”

said Clayton Kershaw, theDodgers pitcher.

According to Cuarto Bat, Mike Trout, a member of his current team, now holds the record for the most extended MLB contract, with a deal worth 426.5 million dollars over 12 years.

Shohei Ohtani is a Japanese professional baseball player. He plays for the Los Angeles Angels in Major League Baseball (MLB).

He began playing baseball while he was young, and the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, a professional baseball team in Japan, scouted him in high school. Ohtani signed with the team in 2012 and played for them until 2017.
