Bronny James, Scheduled To Enter NBA Draft In 2024
Son of NBA icon LeBron James, Bronny James, has declared he will pick in the 2024 draft.
Less than an year has passed since the 19-year-old experienced a heart arrest while practicing at USC.
After undergoing surgery to fix a congenital cardiac abnormality, he returned to the field to play for USC in December.
NBA scoring record holder LeBron James has never hidden his wish to play beside his son on the field.
In 2023, the Los Angeles Lakers player, 39, stated to ESPN, “I am a boy, and I have to be on the floor with Bronny.”
Bronny James posted on Instagram, saying, “This year has been up and down, but it has all contributed to my growth as a man, a student, and an athlete. I have decided to use my collegiate eligibility to pursue the NBA Draft, and I will also be using the NCAA transfer site. As usual, I’m grateful for the support of my family, friends, physicians, athletic trainers, and fans. Thank you to USC for an incredible freshman year.”
One of the greatest basketball players of all time, LeBron James is a four-time NBA champion who last month became the first player to reach 40,000 career points.
The 26th and 27th of June 2024 will see the NBA draft.
