This summer, Erik Bakich and the Clemson Tigers baseball team took advantage of the transfer portal and did it again by signing a new pitcher.
Noah Samol, a former Georgia Tech pitcher, intends to attend Clemson. This past season, the left-hander played as a freshman for the Yellow Jackets, ending the campaign with an 11.40 ERA in 15 innings pitched across 12 games.
The 6-foot-8, 240-pound lefty was regarded as the top left-handed pitcher in Ohio and the No. 3 prospect coming out of high school. He was also ranked as one of the top-35 left-handed pitchers nationwide. The Tigers increase their roster with another great player.
