Curry & Thompson Take On Mahomes & Kelce in Chiefs vs Warriors Matchup From Golf’s “The Match”
Two players from the Kansas City Chiefs and two stars from the Golden State Warriors will square off in a rare match between the worlds of the NBA and the NFL. In the upcoming episode of “The Match,” a third sport—golf—will serve as the arena for their conflict.
Viewers will be able to see the Chiefs meet the Warriors in this Intersport competition that brings together champions from two sports on a neutral pitch. Nobody could have imagined this matchup under any other scenario.
The Champions’ Four Balls
‘Splash Brothers’ Klay Thomson and Steph Curry will represent the Warriors. Together, the two have made more than 5,600 three-pointers and have assisted their team in winning four NBA championships, including the most recent one.
Fans may also expect to see Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL corner, who are both defending champions in their respective sports. Together, they have 48 touchdowns in five seasons and two Super Bowl victories.
When will “The Match” take place in 2023?
The televised charity tournament, which will air on TNT, will feature 12 rounds of golf between the football and basketball stars.
On June 29, “Capital One’s The Match” will be broadcast live from Las Vegas.
This will be the eighth iteration of this exceptional event, which has previously collected almost 35 million dollars for different charity organizations, including giving 27 million meals through Feeding America.
