Damar Hamlin Got Emotional As Damien Harris Left The Pitch In Ambulance

When Damien Harris, a running back for the Buffalo Bills, injured his neck late in the first half of their Week 6 game against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium, safety Damar Hamlin grew distraught on Sunday Night Football as an ambulance removed his teammate from the field.

According to reports, Harris can move his arms and legs, but he will still go through more testing at the hospital. As paramedics carried him aboard the ambulance, he raised his thumb to the stadium.

When the ambulance with his name and number on the back exited the pitch, Damar Hamlin appeared upset from the sidelines. During the game, he did nothing.

Last year, in January against the Cincinnati Bengals, the safety experienced a heart attack. It was decided to halt and call off that game. The program carried on this time.

Innocent Giants linebacker Bobby Okereke delivered a heavy hit to Harris as he carried the ball across the middle.

The procedure was instantly implemented, and players from both sides took a knee. The Bills running back slumped to the ground without moving his limbs.

Harris signed with Buffalo this summer, so he wasn’t there for the Hamlin incident, which shocked the league completely.
