For Some Reason, London LIV Golf Event Starts With Flash Mob.
The days of flash mobs are over. London had initiated last 2019 Cricket World Cup in open with a huge gathering like an organized or flash mob on the roads and not even in any stadium. But, it was memorable though, when England first time ever won any cricket world cup.
On Friday morning, LIV Golf took its event in London back more than a decade in popular culture, which couldn’t have made the greenskeepers at the Centurion Club happy.
In the early 2010s, “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO, which also reached its peak around this time, sparked a flash mob on the first tee at LIV Golf.
After the London tournament, LIV Golf has four further tournaments scheduled for this season, the first of which will be held in The Greenbrier in West Virginia. Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is where the season will wrap up in the month of November.
Next year’s LIV Golf schedule is yet to be determined. The league unexpectedly announced a cooperation with the PGA Tour and DP World Tour last month, but there are still many questions that need answers before the arrangement can be implemented.
Although the PGA Tour will continue to have final say over the direction of the sport and LIV Golf, the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund will be providing funds for the new business.
LIV Golf is currently making the most of its promised life. At least, that’s what it looked like it was attempting on Friday at the first tee in Hertfordshire.
