The Golden State Warriors have advanced to the Western Conference semifinals after a spectacular Game 7 win against the Sacramento Kings.

In the game, Curry led the charge with an incredible 50-point performance, the most points ever scored in an NBA Game 7, surpassing Kevin Durant’s previous record of 48.

Curry is the only second player after NBA legend Michael Jordan to have scored 200 points in a playoff series at the age of 35.

Despite losing the first two games of the series, the Warriors fought back to win the next two on the road and secure their place in the next round.

Kevon Looney was also instrumental in the win, grabbing an impressive 21 rebounds.

The Warriors now face LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference semifinals, a matchup that promises to be an exciting clash of two teams with a rich NBA Finals history.

Unfortunately for the Kings, their special comeback season has come to an end earlier than they had hoped. After snapping a 16-year playoff drought and earning a No. 3 seed, they were unable to advance to the second round for the first time since 2004.

Curry’s heroics were essential in the victory, shooting 20 of 38 with seven 3-pointers and driving fearlessly to the basket with acrobatic moves that left the Kings’ fans in awe.

While Curry was the undeniable star of the show, his fellow “Splash Brother” Klay Thompson also made some crucial contributions down the stretch.

Thompson hit a long three-pointer and converted a four-point play late in the third quarter to help the Warriors maintain their lead heading into the final period.

Despite the disappointment of the loss, the Kings can take pride in their impressive season, which saw them snap a 16-year playoff drought and earn a No. 3 seed in the Western Conference.

However, they will be left to rue missed opportunities as they failed to advance to the second round for the first time since 2004.

For the Warriors, the focus now turns to the challenge of facing James and the Lakers, a team with a rich history of postseason success.

But with Curry in such scintillating form, and the Warriors’ championship pedigree, they will be confident of causing an upset and continuing their quest for a repeat title.
