Giants Sign Matt Peart; Transfer Evan Neal On Injured Reserve
A miserable second season has come to an end for Giants right tackle Evan Neal.
Evan Neal will be unable to participate in any of the team’s last three games after being placed on injured reserve on Sunday. The ankle issue that has kept the 2022 first-round selection out of action for the past five games is the same one that kept him out of two earlier this year.
When Evan Neal plays again in 2024, the squad will be looking for better performance and better health because he wasn’t very productive on the pitch before to the injury.
The Giants activated lineman Matt Peart from injured reserve to take Neal’s position on the roster. Due to a shoulder ailment, Peart has not played since Week Five.
In preparation for the club’s game against the Eagles on Monday, the organization also added linebacker Tomon Fox and kicker Mason Crosby to the practice squad. When Randy Bullock is hurt, Crosby will take over.
