Following the announcement of his new deal with the Golden State Warriors, NBA player Green has replied to the criticism he has received recently from basketball fans.
Even though he has won four championship rings and played in the league for 11 seasons, he still has a lot of detractors. However, he has seen it all before and does not let anything stand in his way.
Draymond Green has used the 100 million-dollar value of his new contract with the Warriors to retaliate against everybody who questioned his abilities during his career.
In a message, Green’s buddy and NBA agent Ron Shade congratulated him on the new contract while also noting how many people formerly had reservations about his skills. Green shared the message.
“Well deserved, my brother. I remember when they said you had max. Three years in the league…. Damn, nearly 300 million later, lol!

And Green responded: “I don’t think they’re still talking, bro lol.”
Draymond Green on juggling his family and basketball
In a postgame interview earlier in the year, he was talking when his kids stopped him. That caused him to disclose the challenges he faces in ensuring he spends sufficient time with his family.
“We miss so much time with our kids.”
“I think that’s every working parent, right? It’s not just us as basketball players. You have an obligation to provide for your child. Growing up in the circumstances that I grew up in, I never want them to experience that.”
“With that, comes a lot of work. The times that you miss, it sucks. I think anyone in here who’s a parent understands that.”
“I’m always thankful for the Warriors organization and the NBA as a whole.”
“They don’t have to allow our kids up here; it’s not something that they have to do.”
“We always talk about kid energy in here. When you bring kid energy, it just lightens the mood.”
