Jalen Brunson Returns From His Foot Injury For the Knicks vs. Nuggets Game
Only a health body can have a health mind but in basketball, a healthy foot and legs can have a healthy basketball player. Feet are the minds of basketball. With a painful left foot, Jalen Brunson has missed five of the last six games for the New York Knicks, but he will play against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.
The Knicks cleared the starting point guard to play after he worked out before the game on Saturday to ensure his stiffness didn’t return, despite him going through a full practice on Friday.
After missing two games due to the injury, Brunson returned on March 9 against Sacramento but only made it through the first half. After that, he sat out of the Knicks’ final three games on the road.
Brunson, the player of the month for the Eastern Conference for February, was absent, and New York finished the game 3-2.
