John McEnroe & Travis Scott's Enmity Intensifies After Travis Scott Damages His Hall Of Fame Plaque

In a legendary tirade directed at the umpire during a Wimbledon match in 1981, Jhon McEnroe said, “You cannot be serious!” If he had watched rapper Travis Scott deface his Hall of Fame plaque on Monday, he most likely would have lost it.

That’s correct, after spray-painting the famous plaque orange, the “Goosebumps” artist escalated his feud with the tennis legend. The rapper can be seen painting a large, depressing happy face over John McEnroe and the phrase underneath it in a video that has emerged of the event.

The video was confusing. Many users on social media are confused. One person said, “Men, I’m done with these rappers and drama.” Another person said, “What’s going on?” Some even questioned the video’s veracity, pointing out that it appeared to be a PR trick. “That’s a wise move. One person commented, “Doing it on camera… hmm looks like a fake stunt.”

A heated discussion that transpired during a meeting between the rapper and the sports great was released on social media a few days prior, sparking the beginning of the conflict. They looked to be at odds about how the new shoe should be interpreted artistically as they launched a new sneaker collaboration with Nike.
