Josh Jacobs Departed Las Vegas & Has Yet To Make Any Plans To Come Back
Jacobs is not currently bound to the Raiders since he has yet to accept his franchise tender. He won’t be penalized for missing training camp this week, then
Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that on Monday morning, Josh Jacobs was seen boarding a jet out of Las Vegas and has informed people close to him that he has no immediate plans to return.
Jacobs is not currently bound to the Raiders since he has yet to accept his franchise tender. He won’t be penalized for missing training camp this week, then.
Jacobs, who will lead the NFL in running in 2022, will get $10.1 million this year while participating in the franchise tender. Jacobs is furious with the Raiders after they declined to exercise his fifth-year option last year and then made what he perceived as vain attempts to sign him to a long-term contract after the franchise tag was applied.
During the Zoom call with other running backs, Josh Jacobs said he had no plans to take part in training camp or the preseason. It still needs to be determined whether he will skip a game check.
For now, Jacobs will think about his next move away from Southern Nevada.
