Kevin Durant Criticizes A Social Media User
NBA basketball player Kevin Durant slams the social media user who said that European basketball is easier than NBA basketball.
NBA player Kevin Durant disputed a fan’s assertion that NBA basketball is simpler than European basketball. The supporter responded to a post in which Kyle Hines, a EuroLeague player, was cited as equating playing in the NBA and Euroleague to playing checkers and chess, respectively.
Although Joel Embiid averaged 33.1 points during the 2022–23 season, the fan also said that NBA stars like Embiid wouldn’t score 30 points per game in the Euroleague.
After Team USA’s underwhelming performance at the FIBA World Cup, the continuing discussion regarding the NBA’s standing in a basketball world has become more heated.
In a stern response to the fan’s post, Durant, a fervent supporter of the NBA, disproved the perception that playing in the league is simpler.
Durant noted,
“F**k outta here Imao. Y’all are insane.”
The fan said that NBA players don’t play defense and that the league is set up to make scoring easy. Kevin Durant refuted these claims, suggesting that B-Moe was only attempting to be contrary.
B-Moe insisted, saying that while the NBA might be more well-known and rich, it doesn’t always imply it’s more hard or competitive. In response, Durant advised B-Moe to get a EuroLeague TV subscription so that he could watch matches.
Durant vigorously defended the NBA’s standard of play, highlighting the continuing discussion regarding the relative competitiveness of the NBA and European basketball.
