L’Jarius Sneed & Titans Reach Four-Year Contract Agreement
For their new star cornerback, L’Jarius Sneed, the Titans have reached an agreement on a new contract.
A four-year contract worth $76.4 million, with a $20 million signing bonus and a $55 million guarantee, has been agreed to by L’Jarius Sneed, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.
On Friday, the Chiefs decided to trade Sneed to the Titans, after he was given the franchise tag.
The 27-year-old Sneed’s rookie deal with Kansas City has ended. Sneed was a 2020 fourth-round selection and over the previous four seasons, he started 54 games and made 57 appearances. In his four seasons, he forced four fumbles, recovered three fumbles, intercepted 10 passes, and had 6.5 sacks.
With Kansas City, he played in 13 postseason games and also recorded seven passes defensed, an interception, 2.0 sacks, and a crucial forced fumble.
Now that Tennessee has a new coaching staff, Sneed will be among the highest-paid corners in the NFL.
