May Madness basketball tournament is designed to help young teams still going through their developing phase (of young boys and girls from fourth to eighth grade, including the third-grade boys) improve their skills and compete.
The Purpose:
May Madness tournament is more about providing a platform to young players for improving their game, than winning trophies. The tournament offers valuable experience in a supportive atmosphere to emerging players who are yet to show their best in the competition arena.
May Madness Tournament Schedule
The tournament will be held on May 18-19 in Bellevue, Washington DC. However, the match-by-match schedule will be posted and emailed out on Tuesday to all participating teams.

Divisions for Every Skill Level
May Madness caters to a wide range of players with divisions for 4th-JV High School boys and girls, with an additional division for 3rd-grade boys. The tournament offers a fair and balanced playing field for teams of all skill levels.
Focus on Fundamentals for Younger Players
For teams in the 5th grade and younger divisions, the focus will be on developing strong fundamentals. Man-to-Man defense will be the only allowed defensive strategy, encouraging players to hone their individual skills and teamwork.
