There have also been allegations that Ja Morant acts in ‘thug-like’ ways with his friends after being shown brandishing a gun in many films.

After confronting a store clerk, his mother acknowledged she needed assistance and phoned Ja Morant and his friends to aid her. However, it now seems that some of his pals also participate in more criminal activity.

While he is being investigated for assault, Davonte Pack, a close friend, has been detained.

While the first court complaint focused on Morant striking a teenager during a pick-up basketball game at his house, Pack has now been detained after being suspected of beating the same adolescent there.

After an altercation occurred while the Indiana Pacers were the visiting team, Pack was previously barred from Memphis Grizzlies games for a year. He was detained at his residence on Wednesday morning.

Morant acknowledged striking the teen

Ja Morant had claimed he was acting in self-defense when the victim allegedly threw a basketball at him, even though he admitted hitting the adolescent in question.

Morant and Pack have recently established themselves as quite the unsavory duo with their appearances in the aforementioned gun-related films.

Because of these actions, Morant’s career has been put on pause. He now serves a 25-game NBA ban for having a gun in a video.
