Week 3 NFL injury report: Joe Burrow is questionable; Bryce Young, Austin Ekeler, OBJ, and Ravens starters all out.
Week 3 of the NFL season began with the San Francisco 49ers defeating the New York Giants on “Thursday Night Football.” Prior to the game, 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk (shoulder) and Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) were declared out.
The Cincinnati Bengals are preparing to play the Los Angeles Rams without their top quarterback on Monday as the week progresses. Joe Burrow was seen at practice before being designated as questionable by the team on Saturday.
After suffering a calf strain during training camp, the 26-year-old returned to practice a month later. However, a less-than-recovered version of the Bengals’ No. 1 draft pick was spotted on the field en way to the team’s 0-2 start.
If Burrow is unable to play, the Bengals signed practice squad quarterback Reid Sinnett on Friday to back up Jake Browning. On Saturday, the team also signed quarterback A.J. McCarron, who previously played for Cincinnati from 2014 to 2017.
