NFL Owners Allegedly Disappointed With Mike McDaniel, Dolphins Coach

The Miami Dolphins' Coach, Mike McDaniel

On Sunday, when the Miami Dolphins and Denver Broncos met in South Florida, most people predicted that the Miami Dolphins, led by Mike McDaniel, would triumph.

Nobody anticipated, though, the Dolphins’ rout of the Broncos, which included 10 touchdowns and an incredible 70 points.

But that’s exactly what occurred on Sunday when Mike McDaniel and Miami defeated a Denver club that is now 0-3 on the season 70-20 in their stadium.

According to a report on Monday, it comes as no surprise that not everyone was pleased with the Dolphins thrashing the Broncos in Week 3, including NFL owners.

If accurate, it would be an intriguing response from the owners, especially considering that we were never made aware of this when certain Sean Payton-coached New Orleans Saints teams would score 50 or 60 points against opponents.

But now that Payton, in his first year as Denver’s head coach, was the victim of a battering, it’s supposedly “disrespectful.”

After their team’s awful performance on Sunday, Broncos supporters are perhaps the only ones who should feel humiliated.

They assumed that Payton would take over and resolve Denver’s issues from Nathaniel Hackett‘s tenure as the team’s head coach last season.

In contrast, the Broncos now seem considerably weaker than in 2022. And after Sunday’s defeat in Miami, it will undoubtedly be difficult for fans to remain optimistic about the team for the rest of the season.
