Reports Indicate Dolphins CB Jalen Ramsey Taken Off the Field With Knee Injury

According to Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network, Miami Dolphins CB Jalen Ramsey had to be taken off the field and treated in the locker room on Thursday after getting hurt during practice, from a knee injury.

According to a report by Safid Deen of USA Today, the injury occurred late in the session. Taking into account the timing, it’s possible that Ramsey’s removal from the scene was unnecessary.

The 28-year-old immediately grasped his left knee injury during an 11-on-11 workout, apparently after he collided with wide receiver Tyreek Hill, whom he was guarding on a pass play. He allegedly hobbled onto the cart after being checked by trainers on the sideline.

On Thursday, safety Jevon Holland told reporters, “everybody’s worried about him.” I won’t try to diagnose him because I’m not a doctor. He might be hurt from a knee injury.

The six-time Pro Bowler revealed on social media in February that he had prayed for the trade that sent him to the Dolphins from the Los Angeles Rams in March.

Despite his importance to the Rams’ Super Bowl LVI victory, the organization decided to trade him after setting an NFL record for the most defeats by a reigning Super Bowl champion the previous season.

At his first press conference in Miami, Ramsey confidently responded to criticisms of his most recent campaign.

“All right,” he responded when asked how he felt about the rumors that he was past his prime. Did you watch me perform in 2016? A break in the action.

You should pay close attention. You can’t rise to the top without deserving it by outstanding performance on the field and garnering the admiration of your contemporaries and the media. We shall see.

He would have been a great asset to the Dolphins’ defense, and they’re crossing their fingers that he’ll be able to play in Week 1.

On Friday before practice, head coach Mike McDaniel will address the media.
