Taylor Swift Receives Great News Though Travis Kelce Lost
Although the Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday may not have gone as planned, Taylor Swift was probably encouraged by the positive news she got on Monday.
Swift is nominated in a brand-new category for the 81st annual Golden Globe Awards, which have 27 categories in cinema and television. This is the reason behind this.
Swift is one of the vying for box office and cinematic accomplishment for her “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour”. The additional films that have been nominated include:
- Barbie” (Warner Bros. Pictures)
- “Guardians of the Galaxy Vo. 3” (Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures)
- “John Wick: Chapter 4” (Lionsgate)
- “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1” (Paramount Pictures)
- “Oppenheimer” (Universal Pictures)
- “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” (Sony Pictures Releasing)
- “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” (Universal Pictures)
- “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour” (AMC Theatres Distribution)
Movies have to gross $150 million worldwide and $100 million locally to be eligible for the cinematic and box office achievement.
So far, the movie has been a big hit, and on Wednesday, it will be available for rental. The additional songs “Wildest Dreams,” “Long Live,” and “The Archer” will be included in the streaming edition, as Swift has already revealed.
The most recent Chiefs loss infuriated Taylor Swift and Kelce.
Swift will probably feel better after hearing this news, as she was forced to see her beau Travis Kelce and the Chiefs fall to the Buffalo Bills in a tight game.
On Sunday, during a crucial game for both teams, Swift was present in the press boxes at Arrowhead Stadium.
Sadly, Swift, Kelce, and the Chiefs lost the game, losing to the Buffalo Bills 20–17. The Chiefs appeared to have won the game with a score from Kelce, but the play was overturned. The game wasn’t without controversy.
Regretfully, the Chiefs’ collapse against the Green Bay Packers (27-19) comes just one week prior to this one as well.
With Swift’s presence during that game as well, the Chiefs have now attended 4 of her games.
When the Kansas City Chiefs play the New England Patriots on Sunday, December 17 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, it will be interesting to see if Swift is among the spectators.
