The Reunion of Marvin Mims & Two Former Teammates in Denver Is Exciting

Marvin Mims will be greeted by two well-known faces when he arrives at the Denver Broncos’ facility to begin the start of organized team activities.

Mims (2020-2022) spent two seasons with the Sooners at Oklahoma, with pass rusher Nik Bonitto (2018-2021) of the Broncos and safety Delarrin Turner-Yell (2018-2021) of the Broncos.

“It’s really exciting.” “OU is a huge brotherhood, so just being able to play with those two again — I played with them for two years. I just talked Turner-Yell not too long ago at the spring game.”

“Just being able to reconnect with those guys — I’m also really close with Samaje Perine and his family — being there with them, it’ll be great.” “I’m excited and looking forward to it.”

Samaje Perine, a Broncos running back who attended Oklahoma from 2014 to 2016, is another person Mims is acquainted with.

Ben Powers, a guard for Denver, also played for Oklahoma from 2016 to 2018, spending one season there concurrently with Perine, Bonitto, and Turner-Yell. This summer, there will be five Sooners in the Broncos’ locker room, the most players from the same university on Denver’s roster by 2023.
