Undoubtedly Kawhi Leonard Still One of NBA’s Finest Star @ Los Angeles Clippers’

Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers has been the greatest player in this series against the Phoenix Suns, despite the fact that both teams have five potential Hall of Famers.
He helped the Clippers split the first two games in Phoenix without Paul George (knee) before missing Game 3 with a right knee sprain; his 34.5 points on 54.5 percent shooting, 6.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 2.0 steals rank second among all postseason scorers.

It’s been two years and an ACL rupture since we last saw Leonard in the playoffs, so this is really impressive. There was no assurance that the 31-year-old would be able to return to this level after such a significant injury, despite the fact that he already had one of the greatest playoff credentials of the last decade with two championships and a Finals MVP award.

When healthy and playing, Leonard is still a top-tier NBA talent.

Kawhi Anthony Leonard

A member of the Los Angeles Clippers of the NBA, Kawhi Anthony Leonard (born June 29, 1991) is an American professional basketball player.

Two-time NBA champion, five-time All-Star, and All-NBA Team member (with three First Team nods to his name).

Due to his excellent ball-hawking abilities, he has been given the nickname “Claw” or “Klaw” and has been awarded All-Defensive Team seven times, as well as Defensive Player of the Year in 2015 and 2016. He made the NBA’s 75th anniversary team in 2021.

After two years with the San Diego State Aztecs, Leonard was recognised as a consensus second-team All-American in college basketball.

He decided to skip his final two years of college and enter the 2011 NBA draughts instead.

He was the 15th overall choice and ended up being traded to the San Antonio Spurs on draught night from the Indiana Pacers.

Leonard was the Most Valuable Player of the 2014 NBA Finals for the victorious San Antonio Spurs. Leonard spent seven years with the Spurs before being dealt to the Raptors in 2018.

He led the Raptors to their first NBA title in franchise history in 2019 and was named Finals MVP for the second time (joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and LeBron James as the only players to earn Finals MVP with more than one team).

He then returned to his native Los Angeles and inked a free agent contract with the Clippers in July of this year (2019).
