Veteran CB Tre Flowers Sign One-Year Contract With The Falcons
Tre Flowers, a cornerback, was signed by the Atlanta Falcons on Monday to a one-year contract, giving their secondary another seasoned player. The 27-year-old began his career in 2018 as a fifth-round pick of the Seattle Seahawks and has spent the past two seasons and a half with the Cincinnati Bengals.
In Atlanta’s revamped secondary, Flowers reunites with colleague Jessie Bates III. Flowers should contend with Jeff Okudah for the No. 2 slot alongside A.J. Terrell now that the Falcons have acquired him through trade.
Flowers has made 224 tackles, defended 14 passes, and intercepted four balls throughout his career.
