Wembanyama Violates Rules Of Basketball Physics With 2.24m Frame
In a Wednesday NBA preseason game, Victor Wembanyama, San Antonio Spurs defeated the Houston Rockets 117-103.
Due to his previously unheard-of physical qualities and stature, the 19-year-old, who is 2.24 meters tall and has a wingspan of 2.34 meters, is referred to as a basketball unicorn.
His performance in this game, in which he scored 15 points by making 1/5 two-pointers, 2/5 three-pointers, and 7/8 free throws, demonstrated why he is the consensus number-one selection in the 2023 draft.
In only 21 minutes at the Frost Bank Centre in San Antonio, he also contributed six rebounds, one assist, one steal, and two blocks.
Wembanyama grabs the rival in the bud
With a dribble past Reggie Bullock Jr. and a pass in between his opponent’s legs, Wembanyama further demonstrated his skill level.
There were three additional Spurs players in double figures: Cedi Osman (10) and Zach Collins (11 points).
The Rockets’ top scorers were Jabari Smith Jr. (20 points), Nate Williams (19 points), Cam Whitmore (17 points), and Jae’Sean Tate (13 points), with Whitmore grabbing attention with his six steals.
