WNBA Playoffs: Aces dominate Sky in Game 1
The Las Vegas Aces, the top-seeded team in the WNBA, defeated the Chicago Sky 87-59 in Game 1 of their best-of-three playoff series on Wednesday night.
Chelsea Gray led the Aces with 20 points and 7 assists, while Jackie Young added 18 points. Kelsey Plum scored 16 points and A’ja Wilson had 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 blocks.
The Aces defense held the Sky to 33% shooting from the field.
Kahleah Copper led the Sky with 15 points, all of which came in the first half. Courtney Williams had 9 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists.
Game 2 of the series will be played on Sunday in Las Vegas.

Sun rout Lynx in Game 1
The Connecticut Sun routed the Minnesota Lynx 90-60 in Game 1 of their best-of-three playoff series on Wednesday night.
DeWanna Bonner led the Sun with 17 points and 15 rebounds, while Alyssa Thomas added 15 points and 10 assists. The Sun shot 16 of 30 from 3-point range.
Kayla McBride led the Lynx with 16 points.
Game 2 of the series will be played on Sunday in Connecticut.
