Asuka is regarded as a WWE icon, and even the wrestler herself has lauded her reputation. Asuka herself posted on social media, praising her for her outstanding wrestling accomplishments at the time.
On X, Sportskeeda had written on a wrestling account, “When it’s all said & done, Asuka’s gonna go down as one of the greatest to ever step foot in the ring. We’re witnessing greatness in real time.”

Throwback about Asuka
Kanako Urai, who goes as Asuka, started her wrestling career in 2004 and joined WWE in 2015.
She is renowned for her distinctive fighting technique, which incorporates martial arts and Japanese wrestling. She is also known for her extravagant outfits and colorful demeanor.
After joining WWE, she went almost two years without losing and twice won the NXT Women’s Championship before being promoted to the WWE main roster in 2017.
When Asuka won the Raw Women’s Championship in her maiden bout, she made her main roster debut on the Raw brand in 2017 and went on an extended winning streak.
She became the first woman to hold all three main WWE women’s championships when she won the SmackDown Women’s Championship in 2018.
In addition, Asuka has twice won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, as well as the Royal Rumble battle and the Money in the Bank deal.
