Zach LaVine, Bulls’ Guard, Allegedly Wants To Be Traded To Lakers
Zach LaVine claims to wish to leave Chicago. Since the previous season, he supposedly hasn’t desired to play for head coach Billy Donovan. It’s unlikely that LaVine would join the Chicago Bulls again if he isn’t moved.
The irate guard is someone the Bulls wish to deal. What is the holdup, then, given all that ground you share?
As stated in a Chicago Sun-Times article, Zach LaVine is not receiving any genuine market interest, according to executive vice president of basketball operations Artūras Karnišovas.
The trade deadline is February 8 and there is one month left until many players who signed in the offseason become available to be moved on January 15.
It would be best, in KarniÅ¡ovas’ opinion, to move LaVine as soon as possible so Chicago can assess what it has, how its squad looks with the guys it acquired, and how strong it is in its negotiations with star DeMar DeRozan.
The two teams that are currently being discussed for a potential LaVine trade are the Raptors and the Lakers. The two-time All-Star, who played for UCLA for one season, is said to have preferred the Lakers because to his affiliation with Klutch Sports.
The Lakers have won the NBA’s in-season tournament for the first time, and Chicago has the fourth-worst record in the Eastern Conference with a 9-16 record. Fifth spot in the Western Conference is occupied by Los Angeles (15-10).
LaVine joined the Chicago Bulls after being selected in the 2014 NBA Draft, and he has played for them for seven of his ten years.
