Jamal Murray led the Denver Nuggets to the 2020 Disney bubble Western Conference Finals, scoring 26.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 6.6 assists per game on 50.5/45.3/89.7 percent shooting.

Three years and an ACL reconstruction later, Murray’s bouncy return is complete.

In Game 1 against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the 26-year-old nearly recorded a triple-double with 24 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists en route to a 29-point victory.

Murray improved his performance from Game 1 by scoring 40 points on 13-of-22 shooting and 6-of-10 from deep in Game 2. Murray answered buckets with his own dagger as the Wolves staged a furious second-half comeback.

It’s been a pleasure to see Murray flourish once more in the playoffs. His scoring average in the postseason is already greater than that of Wilt Chamberlain, Larry Bird, Julius Irving, and James Harden.
