Golden State Warriors Crushed Once More, Unsettling Comment From Steve Kerr
Is the Bay Area witnessing the end of the Kerr Era?
The period of success is finite. This season has been a lesson in hard work for the Golden State Warriors.
The Warriors lost for the sixth time in their previous eight games on Wednesday. It was their fourth straight defeat in which they have allowed 130 points or more and their second straight blowout loss.
Steve Kerr claims the Warriors are no longer inspired.
Head coach Steve Kerr remains pessimistic about the Golden State Warriors as a club, even if they may just need Draymond Green to return from suspension. Kerr said something troubling after the team’s 141-105 defeat to the New Orleans Pelicans.
It would be difficult for any team to compete if they lost all that. Given the bar for success the brand has set for itself, supporters are becoming frustrated with Kerr’s lack of answers at this time.
“Yelling and screaming at them won’t help when we’re as vulnerable as we are right now, in my opinion. Though eventually it might have to alter, I’m striving to maintain their confidence. Our current course cannot be continued. We must put up some resistance; we might need to use some unconventional strategies.”
If Green returns, that should assist with some of the defensive communication that Kerr mentioned, but it might not be enough for a team that doesn’t seem to be playing together.
