Tuesday’s Wings victory over the Atlanta Dream, 85-73, saw Ogunbowale accumulate two technical fouls and get ejected automatically while sitting on the bench. Instead of arguing her point, the two-time All-Star and past scoring champion chose to excite the home fans as she left the floor.

Near the end of the standing ovation, she additionally signed an autograph.

When Arike Ogunbowale was removed from the game, the spectators started to boo the official who had removed her. She played a team-high 36 minutes and ended with 21 points on 7 of 17 shooting (3 of 7 from 3-point range), three assists, two rebounds, and one turnover.
