Ayesha Curry Reveals Defying Stereotype Of An NBA Wife
Although Ayesha Curry is aware of it, many basketball fans only know her as the wife of NBA player Stephen Curry.
The 34-year-old actress, who is of Canadian and American descent, is also well-known for her work in television culinary shows; she just launched Ayesha’s Homemade.
Curry was recently questioned about the meaning of being listed in the Forbes 30 under 3 list during an interview with ABC News.
She values her roles as a wife and mother more than her career. When asked if she minded being referred to as an NBA wife, she responded, “No, I don’t believe I would ever consider myself that, because I feel like that. I mean, I don’t think my husband would ever consider himself a chef’s husband.”
It was startling to see people strolling around with Curry’s jersey on, as she had previously stated that she knew nothing about basketball before dating him.
She still considers herself a devoted admirer, but times have changed. Their mutual support in their work appears to be an indication of a strong friendship between them both.
Ayesha said that she has been teaching her hubby how to play golf during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. “It’s something we can do collectively regardless of where we are in the world.”
Jennifer initiated the discussion by mentioning that she had heard Ayesha was “an amazing golfer.” Curry reacted to the comment with disbelief, saying, “Say it again, I’m a what? Alright, I’ll accept it. I’m going to play that repeatedly.”
Ayesha Curry said, “I’m not a great golfer, but I’m practicing.”
