Blake Fisher, Texas Accepts Terms For OT In Second Round

First-round offensive tackle Blake Fisher, whose contract is worth $6.595 million with a $1.616 million signing bonus, has reached an agreement with the Texans, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC.

The Texans have signed nine players from their draft class; his signing brings that total to nine.

Two-round cornerback Kamari Lassiter, third-round safety Calen Bullock, fourth-round tight end Cade Stover, sixth-round linebacker Jamal Hill, sixth-round running back Jawhar Jordan, seventh-round defensive end Solomon Byrd, seventh-round defensive tackle Marcus Harris, and seventh-round guard LaDarius Henderson were all previously signed by the Texans.

Although Fisher was selected by the team with the 59th overall choice, he is anticipated to see action down the line as a swing tackle behind right tackle Tytus Howard and left tackle Laremy Tunsil.

He played left tackle before switching to right tackle for Notre Dame for the last two seasons, starting every game in that position.
