Brandon Aiyuk Has Not Made Any Trade Request
Although wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk of the 49ers isn’t exactly happy with the team at the moment, he hasn’t asked to be traded.
The news was released on Sunday by Aiyuk’s representative. The 49ers asked Aiyuk to be moved, and Ryan Williams of Athletes First responded to a report on X by writing, “You need better sources.”
As he enters the final season of his rookie contract, Aiyuk has been seeking an extension. The 49ers announced last month that they are discussing a new agreement rather than trying to trade Brandon Aiyuk.
The conversations don’t seem to be going well for Aiyuk, as evidenced by his recent unfollowing of the team on social media, but nothing has been torched yet.
