Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United understands that perseverance is essential for success in sports, so the Portuguese midfielder surprised a supporter by offering him an autographed shirt over a video conversation after the fan had messaged him for 300 days in a row.
Fernandes tweeted in February, repeating the fan’s demand for the number 300 on his autographed jersey.
“I saw you tweet (me for) around 280 days and said to myself that if he (reaches) 300 days then I will send him a shirt!”

But, a little over a month later, the Portuguese international took things a step further and chose to give the fan the shirt he had promised to give him through video chat.
“I appreciate all the support you’ve been giving me, obviously for the club too, and that’s why I want to give you my shirt.”
As said by Fernandes in a video uploaded to his social media accounts.
“I can’t even express the feeling, Bruno, I’m so happy.”
After taking the phone, the shocked supporter remarked.
Soon enough, the stunned fan may be sporting the jersey to an Old Trafford game to which Fernandes has sent an invitation.
“One day I’ll be there. I want to see you playing for us for many years to come, I should be able to witness you play there,”
the supporter said.
On Sunday, United, which has 50 points and is now in third place in the Premier League, will go to fifth-place Newcastle United.
