Dallas Cowboys Fans Draws Ire At Tom Brady
A few harsh remarks were directed towards Dak Prescott by the seven-time Super Bowl winner.
Tom Brady, the great former quarterback of the New England Patriots, ignited a social media firestorm once more when he expressed his desire that Dak Prescott will show up in 2024–2025, even though the star of the Dallas Cowboys earned MVP honors for his achievements last season.
In 2023, Prescott had his best-ever season with 4516 yards (third of all quarterbacks) from 590 attempts, 36 touchdowns (most) and just nine interceptions (95th most) allowed. He also recorded 39 sacks.
Nevertheless, it all came crashing down during the postseason when the Green Bay Packers eliminated the Dallas Cowboys from the NFL playoffs with a 48-32 victory in the wildcard round, led by Jordan Love.
Brady is now hopeful that Prescott can step it up and perform when it matters. Prescott’s unsatisfactory postseason record—which stands at 2-5 (.285)—has been a recurrent storyline throughout his career.
Brady said to Fox Sports: NFL, “Obviously, the Cowboys are a big draw. I am aware of how crucial the Cowboys are to this network in my new position.” “Come on, they have amazing plots. Let’s see whether Dak Prescott can pull through at last. Did that just slip out?” with a twinge of guilt.”
Fans criticize Brady’s remarks.
With seven rings in the bank, Prescott probably didn’t mind too much, but Cowboys supporters were unmistakably incensed about Brady’s remarks, adding that the NFL star was essentially packed off into retirement by Prescott.
However, the 46-year-old received harsh criticism from the Texans on Twitter, where they said that Prescott should take it easy as he has a lot of pressure due to his post-season record.
