Deion Sanders Discloses NFL Teams His Sons Can Play For
The Sanders brothers may declare for the NFL Draft in 2025.
Colorado’s football program has been taken over by Deion Sanders, who has made an effort to transform it into what he wants. In an effort to become the Buffaloes bowl eligible in 2024, Sanders is working hard now that the excitement surrounding the previous season has subsided.
In addition to two-way threat Travis Hunter, who created some Heisman Trophy talk in 2023, the team’s success in the upcoming season will probably be attributed to Sanders’ two kids, Shedeur and Shilo.
But when they depart Colorado, maybe this winter, Deion Sanders hopes to maintain some influence over his gifted trio. As a result, he has provided a list of the NFL teams that he would “permit” Shedeur, Shilo, and Travis to play for; the list appears to be quite well-known.
Deion Sanders desires that his sons carry on his NFL career.
The Philadelphia Eagles, the San Francisco 49ers, the Dallas Cowboys, the Washington Commanders, the Baltimore Ravens, or the Atlanta Falcons are the six NFL teams that Deion has given Shedeur, Shilo, and Travis to choose from, according to the New York Post.
There is no information available regarding the specific course of action Deion would take should any one (or all three) of these players sign with a team that is not on the list; league regulations do not make an exception for lists like the one Deion has provided.
Nevertheless, it didn’t take long for some to realize that during his Hall of Fame career as a cornerback and kick returner, Deion played for five of those six clubs.
Unlike his younger brother Shedeur, Shilo, the oldest Sander son and a safety by trade, has not caused as much ruckus. Shedeur, a quarterback who plays a premium position, shares his father’s charm, self-assurance, and exceptional football intelligence.
If Shedeur has a strong 2024 campaign, he might be selected in the first round of the NFL Draft; however, he would probably begin his career with a team that is in the bottom of the standings, which his father would not be too happy about.
The fact that Hunter can play both wide receiver and cornerback, as Deion did for his entire 14-year career, makes him maybe the most interesting prospect of all. Hunter has potential to be a top-10 pick in 2025 if he maintains his health through 2024.
