Dillon Brooks blasts on LeBron James

When Dillon Brooks finished his task against LeBron James, the Memphis Grizzlies were up 76-62.

James, the all-time top scorer in the NBA and a star with the Los Angeles Lakers beat Brooks with a mid-range turnaround jumper before the referee called a timeout.

James had a couple more words for Brooks after the whistle. It would have been simple to foresee that James’ conversation with Brooks would mark a turning point for the Lakers star. Brooks, however, had other plans.

“I don’t care; he’s old.” “I poke bears. I don’t respect no one until they come and give me 40 (points).”

As a result of Brooks receiving his fourth foul early in the third quarter, James allegedly informed him he was stupid, according to Brooks. Brooks retaliated by firing.

“I let him know that you can’t take me one-on-one.” You haven’t. You can go look at the film. He doesn’t really take me one on one until that moment.”

The Grizzlies won Game 2 by scoring 103 against 93, tying the best-of-seven series at one game apiece. James scored 28 points in the end on 12-of-23 shooting. Brooks ended with 12 points despite being in foul trouble for most of the game.

According to Brooks, James will need to be more effective if he wants to win over one of the NBA’s legendary villains, who finally acknowledged that he respects what James has contributed to the league.

“When I’m on that floor, you’re just another player to me.” “I don’t care who you are. You’re just 6-8, 270 pounds, and you’re a basketball player.”
