Walt Harris, a UFC heavyweight, will return after a two-year absence.

On July 15, Harris (13-10 MMA, 6-8 UFC) and Josh Parisian (15-6 MMA, 2-3 UFC) will square off at a UFC event. The fight was just revealed to MMA Junkie by two sources with knowledge of the booking, who requested to remain anonymous since the organization has not yet made an official announcement. Eurosport NL initially reported the news.

The UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones’ training partner, Harris, will try to end a three-fight losing streak. A trio of opponents—Alexander Volkov, Marcin Tybura, and Alistair Overeem—have stopped the 39-year-old in his last three appearances. In July 2019, Aleksei Oleinik was defeated by Harris in a 12-second knockout.

The last six performances by Parisian were divided. The 33-year-old recently lost to Jamal Pogues by a unanimous decision in February. He entered the UFC through Dana White’s Contender Series in August 2020. Before that, Parisian defeated Alan Baudot via technical knockout at the UFC on ESPN 38, winning Performance of the Night.
