Jets Intend to Fly High With Trevor Siemian As Their Starting Quarterback
The Jets intend to make Trevor Siemian their starting quarterback. The Jets are keeping starting quarterback Zach Wilson but adding a backup quarterback.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, veteran quarterback Trevor Siemian will sign with the Jets pending a physical. In 2019, Siemian was a member of the Jets’ roster.
Siemian most recently attended Bengals training camp and preseason games but was cut before the regular season began. He has previously played for the Broncos, Saints, Titans, and Vikings.
Siemian has made 30 starts for the Broncos and has a 13-17 record, 42 TD passes, and 28 INTs in his NFL career. He is third on the Jets’ quarterback depth chart, behind Wilson and Tim Boyle.

Siemian was born to Walter and Colleen Siemian on December 26, 1991ย in Danbury, Connecticut.
After Brandon Allen decided not to re-sign with the Bengals on May 3, 2023, the organisation made a deal with Siemian.During training camp, Siemian and Jake Browning battled for the position of backup quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals.
Browning ultimately won the job after the third preseason game. The 29th of August, 2023 saw the release of Siemian.
He inked with the Chicago Bears on March 29, 2022. The New Orleans Saints officially signed him on November 20, 2020. He officially joined the Tennessee Titans on August 19, 2020.
