Joe Pompliano Claims Patrick Mahomes Worth Zero Dollars

Both on the football pitch and in his personal life, Patrick Mahomes hasn’t had the best season. According to Joe Pompliano, the Kansas City Chiefs star’s equity was destroyed in a botched business deal.

This business is a sports hydration startup named BioSteel, with whom he collaborated in 2020 but left to join PRIME with Logan Paul and KSI after suffering significant financial losses.

Although BioSteel signed top athletes like Jalen Ramsey, Michael Cammalleri, Luka Doncic, and Ja’Marr Chase, the company lost more than $200 million. The firm then declared bankruptcy, owing the National Hockey League nine million dollars.

Pomplinao stated that Biosteel was expending $10 million monthly. “Mahomes’ ownership stake in the corporation was effectively worthless when that company filed for bankruptcy.”

Pompliano thought this was a much better deal for Patrick Mahomes. He then teamed up with well-known YouTube personalities who became boxers. These individuals have previously worked with other sports, including soccer players and UFC fighters.

After making its debut in 2022, PRIME quickly emerged as a competitor to well-known companies in the isotonic beverage market, including Gatorade, Under Amour, and Powerade. According to estimates and reports, PRIME is now generating $500 million annually.

In addition, the beverage company donated $100,000 to Mahomes’ charity, and he received minimal recognition from the company when it entered the NFL.

Who will the Chiefs play next?

After defeating the Los Angeles Chargers 13–12, Mahomes’ team won the AFC West and guaranteed a postseason berth as the third seed in the American Football Conference in the Wild Card round.

They must defeat the Miami Dolphins, who led the division for the duration of the season but ended up second in the AFC East. The Buffalo Bills, who outscored the Dolphins by winning the division, and the Baltimore Ravens, who had Tyreek Hill leading the way, have now lost two straight games.

On Saturday, January 13, at 2:00 PM ET, the AFC Wild Card game will commence.
