Josh Allen Gave Moving Tribute To Stefon Diggs After Bills' Exit

The QB, Josh Allen, for the Buffalo Bills, admitted borrowing strategies from Brett Favre, but the move hasn’t gone down well with the coaches.

Josh Allen is preparing to begin a brand-new campaign with the organization and is already making the rounds to appear on as many shows as possible. When appearing on Kay Adams’ FanDuel program, he recently made a startling admission.

He borrowed a little of Brett Favre‘s aggressiveness for the aggressive component of his game. People who have watched the former Green Bay Packers quarterback play will tell you he enjoyed making fun of his teammates in warm-up drills. Allen appreciates the notion of constantly finding things to do while at camp. To do this, he occasionally deviates from the script and tries to read the minds of his colleagues. Brett Favre was all too knowledgeable about these strategies.

What does Brett Favre do differently from Josh Allen?

Allen doesn’t back away from contact because of how powerful his arm can be, and because of how aggressive he can become, he frequently makes a few errors. However, Josh Allen takes credit for what is deserved and likes this facet of his game.

“I’m joking around constantly, and doing stuff I probably shouldn’t be doing. My coaches can attest to that – try to knock the ball out of Poona Ford’s hands. Watching some of what Brett Favre did in the past, I think he always tried to find something new to keep him entertained during practices, it’s been six years that I’ve been in the same system, and these are the same exact plays that basically I’ve been running for the last five years. You got to find ways to continue to keep yourself entertained.”

Comparisons to Brett Favre can only go so far, and Josh is still far from earning three MVP awards in a row. He can also win a Super Bowl while playing for the Bills.

But little evidence suggests that he will soon take home the title. Josh Allen, who is 27 years old, is just beginning the phase of his career that might propel him to new heights.

Allen playing football and occasionally acting like Brett Favre throughout a game should be something we can look forward to as long as he maintains his desire. In addition, he has a sense of humor fit for a goof, which is always good.
