Kawhi Leonard, the key forward of the Los Angeles Clippers, has a torn meniscus in his right knee, reports The Athletic.

Leonard played in the first two games of the Clippers’ playoff series against the Phoenix Suns but missed the following three games due to a knee injury.

Leonard sat out of Game 5 due to a sprained right knee, the same injury that has kept his teammate, Paul George, out of play since March 21.

Leonard initially hurt his knee during Game 1 but played through it in Game 2. The injury worsened over time.

Last season, Leonard missed all of the games due to a torn right ACL. Leonard averaged 34.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and six assists per game in the first two games vs. the Suns.
