Lando Norris Sustains Serious Nose Injury, Week Prior To Miami GP

Lando Norris and Max Verstappen are good friends, and he has previously been connected to Red Bull.

Recently, while on vacation in the Netherlands, McLaren driver Lando Norris was spotted having a wonderful time. However, during the celebration, he took a knock to the nose.

The photos show Norris grinning despite having loose bandages all over his face; it is unclear how serious the injury was.

Mexican Patricio O’Ward is the reserve driver for McLaren in Formula One, but he hasn’t had a chance to compete in the top division yet.

With one race under his belt and 64 points overall in the 2024 season—three behind leader Scott Dixon but 15 behind leader Pato O’Ward—he rides for the Arrow McLaren team. As of right now, O’Ward has won one race.

On May 6, O’Ward, who is competing in his sixth season of the IndyCar Series, will turn 25. The native of Monterrey has already said that it would be extremely difficult for him to be granted the chance to compete in Formula 1 if he does not make it by the time he is 27.

For the May 3–5 Grand Prix of Miami, Lando Norris may give up his place to O’Ward if his nose injury necessitates a delayed recovery.
